Welcome to my revamped blog!

Unknowingly, I've been a ~~lazy~~ blogger since 2004, back in SAJC days!
And so i thought it's time to do a face-lift a.k.a revival (since my last entry in my old blog was dated 6 July 09!
I'm still deciding on whether to delete some of my archives as there are simply to many. Oh well, I will look at it again.... Anyhow, as a fan of Harry Potter, I am fantasied by the memory bowl that Dumbledore has. He would pull the memories out from his head to the bowl, in the form of silvery cloud, which allows remembrance/thoughts/feelings to be stored and be retrieved at one's will.
So Vuala!
I have changed my blog name from Escaphoria!
(which, if you never knew and FYI, HAD meant to be feeling of Escaping from Fear/Phobia), to something more neutral.
Here's where I will share my joy and sorrows. Cheers to laughter ~~and boredom~~ of my life!

Busy Sunday!

0900: Alarm Clock rang......

1100: Boarded SBS Bues 170 @ Kranji MRT

1230: Reached JB Immigration Complex

0300: Lunch at Stonegrill***..

1400: Dessert at Secret Recipe (my favourite carrot cake!)

1430: Xmas Shopping

1700: Tea break at Old Town White Coffee (Mocha white coffee ice blend)

1830: Home sweet Home

1930: Belated birthday celebration for sis @ ThaiExpress~~~

2nd attempt to JB via public transport. I would still prefer taking car though. No jerky and pukish rides. Well, I'm super tired to the core of my bones. Played too hard. Weekend is once again over in splits... Sigh.... By the way, it's dental checkup tomorrow once again! I hate it!

The food was so tantalizing, I did not stop to take pictures the moment the food were served.. Ops.. Also, best thing is: We don't stink after the meal! Good ventilation in place.

Germain had Sirloin Steak! I would really like to try the steaks, but I'm worried that I might have another round of 'upward-rejection'.

Sis Birthday Dinner Celebration @ ThaiExpress

Sis's birthday is exactly two years and 1 week before mine! I'm so glad that she like it. coz she's really fussy with food. But we could all tell that she frequents ThaiExpress from her mavellous recommendations....

With the scrumptious Gai Op Phrik Thai Dam - Black Pepper Chicken Rice right before her, mum has no more dining etiquette per said.

Both sis and i had our standard order: Phat Thai Talay - Thai fried seafood noodle. Andrew refers to it as local-styled Fried Kway Teow without black soy sauce... oh well.. it's definitely different.

Andrew's indulgence: Kang Ob Woon Sen - Claypot Black Pepper Crayfish glass noodles

Side dishes

Phat Pak Bung Fai Daeng - Kang kong stir-fried with fermented beans.
Sis recommended the some shirmp paste kang kong though. Guess we ordered wrongly or weren't given the right order. The dish was nice though, spicy with a tint of salty. i like it the way it's blend and light on oil and chilli.

My favourite: Tau Hoo Tod Sod Sai - Fried Stuffed Tau Pok. Fell in love with it after having it with Selina the last time round. There's a boiled version of it, that resembles minced meat meatballs mixed with tang hoon (glass noodles).

Poo Tod Kratiem Phrik Thai - soft-shell crab. Prefer the Brachyura to be fried in the hands of Japanese though.

Never felt like this in a year! Freak! My day was totally spoiled. Why am I so obliged to help her?! When she's requesting in such an authorative and demanding manner!!!!?!? No grounds for her to do so anyway... Germ's right. I have to learn to say NO to her extended request. I'm helping at e expense of my own deadline! Not even a word of appreciation!

Weekend was slack and rujuvenating. Caught 2 movies - Planet 51 and Storm Warriors 风云.

风云 - Despite all the negative reviews, i guess i still have to give it credit for the action and graphics. But the storyline is pretty lame, actresses are totally 'extras' who add on to the lame decibel and it's simply ssooOooOO familiar like... the movie '300'??!! By the way, my agenda of watching it was purely to see 'Aaron Kwok'!!!! Not many will know: I have fallen in love with him ever since I had gotten the free concert tics to the 'Aaron Kwok De Show Reel Live In Concert' on 30 May 09. (Sorry sorry I will blog about it soon!) I had never understand why Man Lin was so crazy about him in pri sch. But after seeing his out-of-this-world dance movess, melting in his singing, shaking his hand and gotten a flying-kiss from him, I'm totally swirled into Man Lin's FANatic!He's such a hunk even at age 44... OMGosh..... gotta check out the perfect cut of his muscular physique... muhahaha... *drooling..... okok.. enough.. I'll have a separate entry specially for Aaron soooOOooon....

Anyway, i had 2 good meals too.. Ajisen Raman and Crystal Jade Steamboat. And yes.. you're seeing it right 'CRYSTAL JADE STEAMBOAT' @ Causeway Pt.

Not oily.. not stuffy.. Not dirty.. not squeezy..

YES healthy.. YES air-con.. YES hygienic.. YES cushioned booth seats!

Highlight of the meal - Live Prawns... Wriggling still in the boiling soup... Tender.. Juicy.. Tasty..
Oh correct me if I'm wrong.. but i think prawn has blood?! I did have reddish glue oozing out when I split the head... ???!!?? Can someone enlighten me?

Anyway I think I deserve this relaxing weekend as I have been working extra hard since Selina's resignation and I have started teaching! Yet another mission to accomplish in 2 years! Hm.. wondering how Grace and MeiHui are doing right now....

11 more days to Xmas and 18 more days to 2010! 2009 has been a year of learning for me, with only excitement of work to remember. I'm one small step closer towards my goal. Oh well, I'm still looking up at summit from the foot of Mt. Everest. I'm crossing my fingers for a portfolio change soonest possible next year!
Anyway, it's Fri already and tonight I crave for a good meal and rest! Gotta be productive later!

I'm back! I seriously think i've lost all my viewers after months of dormant! Haha 1 year into working, I really miss sch for it's flexibility and freedom. Work drains your energy and physique exponentially no matter how much passion you have in what you do.
nonetheless I will try to blog as frequent as I can via my iPhone =p by the way I really love my iPhone despite all the flaws that it has! I mean seriously people, stop picking on it! What more can you ask from a phone with endless funtions?! Haha

, which makes her a Capricorn of the Holy Night. She is very much into the Japanese culture and wishes to experience a short stay of say 5 years in Japan.
But reality forbids her from pursuing this dream as she has, somehow, GERMAINED herself into the financial industry. It directed her towards a summit that she wishes to conquer in 2 years' time.
She would like to be a private tutor for kids when she retires and she loves her students now! She is the midst of finding her wandering soul as she is an extreme contradiction

Missie Peh loves her family, close friends, students and her collection of teddy bears. She can survive on only the greens and fruits 24/7. Soft-spot for Japanese Cuisine especially Sashimi i.e. sake/hotate-gai/kajiki, Tempura and Yakimono! She loves YAM ice-creams that are melted into glues!
She loves suspense and fantasy genre of novels, including writers like Mary Higgins Clark, Agatha Christie, Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon, Stephen King and J.R.R Tolkien. Not forgetting selective literature writers like Mitch Albom and Paulo Coelho, and fantasies too
She is a movie maniac and makes it a point to catch new shows within 1 week of release. She goes for horrors/fantasy/thrillers/actions (ironically, she dislike Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as she thinks that it is totally 'HI BIMBOTIC'
She's fine with any music, as long as it's pleasing to the ears and definitely a NoNo for techno! She's very much into English R&B, soft rock and pop and she has to mention her idol diva since childhood, A-Mei!!!
Simply would not mind solitary for books, streaming (HK dramas, Jap anime, American TV shows - Heroes and Fringe), reflection and of course BEAUTY Therapy! zzzZZZZzZZz

Missie Peh absolutely HATES COLD and paradoxically also the SUN for it's UV RAY!
She hates to chat on the phone even for a minute as it gives her headache
She doesn't like coffee, soups, beehoon, mutton and oysters.
The tap will start running with spices, coconut or even beef but she always can't resist the temptation.

It's really a love-hate situation!
